I am one of those teacher-scholars who loves both classroom teaching and conducting joint and independent research. While at ACU, I’ve taught the introductory course to 58 and then 131 students, while also teaching social inequality and social theory. In Spring 2019, in addition to Intro, I’m teaching 36 students in two sections of research methods. We are using a free, open-source textbook and supplementing this with Give Methods a Chance, a book and podcast from The Society Pages.
